9 December Tamara Lunger officially becomes athlete CT
CT launches its own Climbing Team with an exceptional member: Tamara Lunger.
This superb athlete, the youngest woman ever to reach the 8516 m summit of Lhotse and the second Italian woman to climb K2, was chosen for her determination, her infectious passion and her desire to living the mountain to the full, following in the footsteps of the best famous former mountaineers.
The official appointment of Tamara will be announced during the press conference scheduled on Tuesday 9th of December, in our Headquarter at Cisano Bergamasco. In front of journalists from Italian and International magazines, Carlo Paglioli – founder and owner of Climbing Technology – will consign to the new testimonial of Climbing Technology a complete mountaineering equipment.
We are proud to have her at the head of our team because we share the same climbing passion which, before Tamara herself was born, spurred on those who, almost for fun designed their own climbing gear, invented the Climbing Technology brand.
Today, just like then, we are involved and will support Tamara in her future mountaineering career, designing innovative equipment to help her which will then be available to all climbers and mountaineers.
Tamara will give us her important contribution to the development and testing of new products with which we’ll accompany her in her future projects to climb virgin summits by super-technical routes.
