
Find Your Way: 4 days’ climbing in the Carnic Alps
On 25 September the third edition of Find Your Way organised by Chiodo Fisso starts. Four days dedicated to sport climbing – from 25 to 28 September 2014 – on Friuli Venezia Giulia’s marvellous crags. This worthwhile event has lots of competitions and possibilities to meet athletes such as the World Number One Adam Ondra and top climber Silvio Reffo.
Climbing Technology sponsors this fantastic event whose goal is to bring together lovers of the mountains in a big community to enjoy themselves together and share thrilling moments and techniques. There is a vast range of climbs but before starting, we must not forget being correctly equipped, here’s how.
We’ll be there to meet you and remind you that, while climbing means adrenalin and enjoyment, it is a serious activity and that Climbing Technology is focused on the manufacture of safe, ergonomic and hard-wearing equipment.

Tank Rope Bag
Cited at the 6th edition of the Desnivel Gear Award organised by leading Spanish magazine Desnivel, an important journal for climbers from all over the world. The Tank Rope Bag has a large built-in sheet and a central well for holding an 80 m rope, a dozen quickdraws and all your other equipment.
The main parts of the event will be held at Gemona nel Friuli (UD) which will host the International junior bouldering competition (Thursday, Friday and Saturday in piazza del Ferro) and the regional FASI bouldering competition for all Under 20 categories (Sunday). On Saturday and Sunday, all participants will be able to watch Adam Ondra and Silvio Reffo climbing at the crags.
The organisers have selected 7 different crags for a total of 180 different routes:
- Gemona del Friuli Glemina.
- Somplago Parete Bianca – Parete Rossa.
- Cavazzo Cjanevata – Il Giardino dei Clapons.
- Verzegnis i Cretons.
- Villa Santina Chiesetta – Mandrabau – Villa Nuova sectors.
- Tolmezzo Sasso Bonsai “Inceneritore”.
- Raveo Cuel di Nuvolae, Tacs e Bonan sectors.
All the well-bolted routes will see all participants, from beginners to veterans, testing their fingers, strength and stamina. (source www.chiodo-fisso.net).
